Family Workshops: Puppetry with Polka
Step into a world of imagination with Polka Theatre, suitable for ages 4 – 7.
About Family Workshops: Puppetry with Polka

Join Polka Theatre for an hour of sensory storytelling, puppet making and sharing, inspired by the Story Explorers family exhibition. We’ll travel through jungle, ocean and space worlds using sound, movement and tactile prompts, then make a puppet of your own to bring your story to life. At the end, everyone will get a turn to show and tell. Perfect for little imaginations (and grown-ups too!).
For the last 30 minutes of the session you will get to freely adventure in the Story Explorers exhibition, where you will continue exploring and having fun together.
Please book one ticket for every member of your group.
We are also running another version of this workshop which is suitable for children aged 7 – 9, and another similar workshop which is suitable for SEND families.
