Business Finances Demystified

A beginner-friendly workshop that demystifies business finance by breaking down key jargon, reports and principles to help you build, understand and confidently explain a strong business model.

About Business Finances Demystified

One of the biggest pain when you are starting or running a business is all the financial jargon and numbers.

Business finance can seem an intimidating topic but at least half the issue understanding business finance is getting on top of the jargon - the language of business. And this is what this course is all about.

Behind all the jargon, business is basically common sense ie you need to sell things for more than they cost and have enough cash in the bank to pay the bills!

To achieve this you need to develop a sound business model ie commercial model.

The good news though - to develop and explain your business model, there are only 3 reports we need to go through, which are based on just 3 principles and about 30 key words! Hope this sounds do-able!

Some of you may have done some finance but please be totally assured I am assuming NO prior knowledge.

In this workshop we will cover:

  • The 3 financial objectives of a business
  • The 3 reports which cover these objectives
  • The 5 aspects of your business model
  • And about 30 key bits of jargon.

By the end of this workshop you will be able to:

  • Understand how to build a winning business model
  • How to explain your business model to investors
  • How to understand your accountant

Also included in the workshop is a free guide to Business Finance..

“Many thanks Numbers Coach for making finance a lot less scary. Really good, clear stuff for mentors and mentees.” RC
