About Under the Sea with Embracing Arts

A group of children and an adult sitting in a circle holding a soft-looking, blue octopus stuffed toy.

As part of our Story Explorers exhibition, dive into the ocean in our under-the-sea adventure. Make friends with the fish, sea urchins, jellyfish and a beluga whale as you search for the octopus's garden through the wonders of the sea.

This sensory story is led by two practitioners. Using intensive interaction and sensory engagement to encourage play, creativity and communication. This session is fully inclusive and accessible to children with additional needs.

Embracing Arts is a theatre company dedicated to creating work for children with special educational needs and/or life limiting conditions. Their interactive, sensory sessions are tailored to the unique needs of each audience and use storytelling, music and song to entertain, engage and educate.
