About Story Explorers: Relaxed Afternoon

Two smiling children holding lights

This relaxed afternoon opening is for families with children on the autism spectrum and other sensory needs. Enjoy our family-friendly Story Explorers: A Journey Through Imaginary Worlds exhibition with reduced capacity. Our team will be on hand to support your visit and answer any questions.

You’ll have an hour and a half to enjoy the gallery and you can arrive and leave anytime during the slot you’ve booked. All visitors to this special opening will receive a visual story in advance to provide an idea of what to expect on arrival. Please note that the rest of the Library is open to the general public.

All tickets need to be pre-booked for everyone in your party.

Can’t make this date? More Relaxed Afternoons for Story Explorers will take place over the summer, with booking for those opening soon. Keep an eye on our website for more dates.
