About JLF London 2025
A convivial weekend not to be missed as the Library comes into colourful life, with talks, panels and more across three venues.
Speakers and writers from around the world discuss everything from art to literature, history to science, food to film, international politics to sustainability.
Speakers so far confirmed include Asma Khan, David Hare, Gurinder Chadha, Hanif Kureishi, Ira Mukhoty, Javed Akhtar, Michael Rosen, Namita Gokhale, Reeta Chakrabarti, Shashi Tharoor, Shobhaa De and William Dalrymple.

Passes for each day, or the whole weekend, are now on sale – or for those unable to be in London or not wanting to miss a thing – an online pass that will give you access to the largest sessions live, and everything else soon after, for the next two weeks.
Tickets for the opening session on Friday 13 June are not included in Weekend passes and will be available soon.
The Jaipur Literature Festival is one of the world's greatest literature festivals, attracting huge and largely youthful audiences to the ‘pink city’ of Jaipur in Rajasthan, India, every winter. Festival Co-Directors, William Dalrymple and Namita Gokhale, and Producer Sanjoy K. Roy of Teamwork Arts, present and curate a series of international editions of this remarkable festival in the UK, Europe and America, including JLF London at the British Library, now in its 12th year.

Attending your event
This event will take place at the British Library and is also available to watch online from anywhere in the world. Tickets may be booked to attend in person, or to watch on our platform either live or during the next 7 days on catch up. If you book an online ticket, you will receive the viewing link on the morning of the event. Day and Weekend Passes give access to any session on the relevant day, but please note that this is subject to capacity of each venue. You are advised to arrive in good time for the sessions of your choice. If you have specific access requirements please email customer@bl.uk
Concessions
There are a range of concessions available. These include discounts for British Library Members, half-price tickets for students and under 26s, free entry for carers as well as a number of other concessions.
