Celebrate World Book Day with one of the nation’s best‑loved storytellers. Michael Rosen returns to the Library for this livestreamed event for primary schools.

This year’s session will explore the magic of stories in all their forms – from playful fiction to imaginative journeys and the art of bringing ideas to life. Expect lively readings, creative prompts and Rosen’s trademark humour as he invites your students to think, invent and explore.

Designed for Key Stage 2 classes, this interactive event supports reading for pleasure, creative writing and classroom discussion. Whether your pupils are budding writers, curious readers or enthusiastic performers, they’ll be inspired to experiment with characters, settings and storytelling techniques.

Further details will be announced soon, but you can look forward to an uplifting, high‑energy celebration of books, creativity and the joy of getting lost in a story.
