
Eco Explorers: Sustainability in Action!
Years 5 – 6Students will explore the Library’s rich collections whilst using creativity and collaboration to reflect on the meaning of sustainability.

This workshop is fully booked until the end of this academic year (17 July 2026). We will start taking bookings for September and October 2026 from 13 April. Please do not make a booking request for a date before this time as it will not be processed.
In this hands-on session, students will work collaboratively to go on a quest across the Library to discover how to take sustainable and positive action. Students will reflect on what sustainability means to them and find their voice through poetry and performance to spread environmental awareness!
This workshop has been co-created with Year 5 students from Invicta Primary Schools in Deptford and Blackheath and with KS3 students from Alexandra Park School.
Please note:
- group size: maximum 30 students per school
- cost: free
- session times: 10.30 – 12.00 or 13.00 – 14.30.
