Join us for a monthly art workshop designed for blind and partially sighted visitors.
Once a month, Wednesdays, 11.00About Art workshops for people who are blind and partially sighted
Each month participants will have a chance to find out about the British Library’s collection – from manuscripts and printed books to some of our unique sound collections. In each workshop participants will hear audio description and then get the chance to respond creatively using different art techniques. Exploring a range of tactile and 3D art making participants will have the opportunity to try out a range of art materials. No experience needed.
Workshops are free and refreshments are provided. Guide and assistance dogs are welcome.
Workshops take place monthly on Wednesdays between 11.00 – 13.00. To find out more and to book a place please e-mail outreach@bl.uk .
