Join TV presenter and plant author of new book The Philosophy of Houseplants,Sarah Gerrard-Jones, for a wide ranging conversation with fellow houseplant expert Jane Perrone. With plenty of practical advice on looking after plants and bringing them back to life. Plants and terrariums for the event provided by The Botanical Boys.
Followed by a book signing of The Philosophy of Houseplants, new from British Library Publishing.
This is a free event. No booking is required but access to the event is subject to venue capacity. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time.

About the speakers
Jane Perrone is a houseplant expert and journalist specialising in plants and gardening. Her work is regularly published in The Guardian, The Financial Times, Gardens Illustrated and RHS The Garden magazine. Jane's podcast On The Ledge and newsletter The Plant Ledger cover the world of houseplants, from cacti and succulents to terrariums and ferns.
Sarah Gerrard-Jones. As a presenter on ITV’s Alan Titchmarsh’s Gardening Club and a contributor to BBC Gardeners’ World, Sarah has become a trusted voice in the world of gardening. Her expertise is regularly featured in publications such as BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine, The Sunday Times, Gardens Illustrated, and Living etc. Sarah is the founder of the Plant Rescue Box, an RHS-backed initiative aimed at reducing the number of plants discarded by retailers. Her dedication and knowledge have earned her a prestigious Gold Medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
