The Michael Marks Awards for Poetry Pamphlets celebrate the publications that change poetry. Pamphlets are where acclaimed poets have freedom to experiment and where new writers emerge. Previous Michael Marks Award winners include internationally celebrated poets alongside skilled voices at the very start of their careers.

This year’s pamphlets will be chosen by poets Karen McCarthy Woolf and Tristram Fane Saunders, along with the British Library’s Eleanor Dickens. The Illustration Award winner will be selected by author, illustrator and political cartoonist Chris Riddell.

Join us to celebrate the winners of the Michael Marks Awards for Poetry Pamphlet and Environmental Poetry Pamphlet. We will also discover the Publisher and Illustration Award-winners, and hear behind-the-scenes perspectives on their work.
