Baba Yagas, bloodstained dolls, frozen spit, psychic hare-hags, bizarre marriages, and lovers who hide monstrous secrets behind their charms. Irrepressible storytellers Ben Haggarty and Sarah Liisa Wilkinson invite you to stay up late and feel too much as they lure you into the full-blooded and unashamedly magical realm of fairy tales for grown-ups.

Dark, funny, and enchanted – these are stories of initiations, intoxications, the repayment of debts, and the risks of chasing what you want most. In this world reality bends and rules aren't broken lightly. These are fairy tales with iron teeth.

This evening will be in two halves, with a lovely long break when you can talk, draw and drink. In the first half, Sarah Liisa Wilkinson performs Strange Girls – Beautiful Monsters. In the second half Ben Haggarty performs the Grateful & the Dead.

Please note that this performance contains descriptions of sex, threat, violence and death contextualised within a paradigm of mythic narrative, archetype and metaphor.
