About Speed Mentoring: Business Rooted in Community

Group of people sitting and networking at tables.

In honour of Black History Month, the Business & IP Centre will be hosting a speed mentoring session celebrating Black entrepreneurs and professionals in business.

This session will give you the opportunity to connect with business owners, consultants and marketing experts from the Black British community. Our expert mentors will share insights from their own business journeys, along with practical tips and advice to help you organise your creative ideas, protect your intellectual property, create a writing schedule and stay disciplined on your path to success.

You'll be able to meet expert and sector leaders and pose your business questions straight to them, in a fun and informal atmosphere.

Speed mentoring events take place in the Networking Area in the Business & IP Centre on Floor 1 of the British Library.
