About Speech-to-text and BSL Tour: Secret Maps

This tour is suitable for visitors who are D/deaf, deafened and hard of hearing.
You will be guided through our latest exhibition, Secret Maps, by a curator and discover the stories hidden in some of history’s most mysterious maps. You will find out about how the exhibition traces the levels of power, coercion and secrecy that lie behind maps from the 14th century to the present day. Live speech-to-text transcription will be provided by Stagetext and a BSL interpreter will be present.
One free ticket for a companion is available per visitor. Please book a ticket for each person attending. Guide and assistance dogs are welcome.
If you require any other access support, please contact us on outreach@bl.uk.
Ticket holders should meet at the Information Desk in the Main Entrance 15 minutes before the start time.
