About Sensory Storytelling: Unearthed

Dig into stories of nature and gardening in this hands-on sensory storytelling workshop led by Learning Facilitators.

In this session you will step into our garden-themed exhibition, Unearthed: The Power of Gardening, to hear tales of nature in an immersive and sensory environment. You will then get creative using movement, smell and touch in a series of engaging hands-on activities.

This participatory session is designed to support all learners including those with SEND.

  • Learning objectives: 
    • Learners will respond creatively to oral storytelling and traditional tales 
    • Learners will engage in oracy through roleplay and sensory activities 
  • Maximum group size: 30 
  • Start time: 10.30 
  • Duration: 60 minutes
