Relaxed Family Workshop: Playful Dance Horizons

Let’s get moving in this vibrant, inclusive Caribbean workshop at this special early opening for SEND families.

About Relaxed Family Workshop: Playful Dance Horizons

A man in a wheelchair performs alongside a woman in a flowing dress who is holding a suitcase

Free, pre-booking required.

This relaxed workshop is for families with special educational needs, including those on the autism spectrum and takes place before we open to the public.

Celebrate with us as dancers Amber Ogunsanya-William and Gabriel Palmer take to our floor in an inclusive performance. They’ll explore rhythm, movement and Afro-centric storytelling, celebrating diversity, play, and the joy of dance.

Then, get creative as we experiment and play together in a movement workshop exploring creativity, culture and inclusive dance.

A dedicated sensory room will also be available for children needing a quieter and calmer space. Please note that the library opens to the public at 11.00.

Please book one ticket per person in your group.

If you require any other access support, please contact us on outreach@bl.uk.
