Join us for an exciting evening where the rich stories of mysterious maps and adventure come together!

Designed to be flexible and suitable for those with extra sensory needs participants will have the chance to play a custom-crafted, library-themed Dungeons & Dragons campaign, whilst those not playing can look around our Secret Maps exhibition. Beginners are welcome and staff will be on hand to support.

Please Note: The Dungeons & Dragons campaign has limited spaces, and will take the full length of the event to play, so please choose the ‘Admission with D&D’ option letting us know you want to play when you book. If you are coming to support a young person but aren't planning to play please choose general admission only ticket.

Book soon, as there are limited places. This event is free and aimed at neurodivergent young people aged 11+ and their parents or carers. All tickets need to be pre-booked for everyone in your party.  For more information please e-mail outreach@bl.uk.

All visitors to this special opening will receive a visual story in advance via e-mail to provide information on what to expect at the event. Please note that the rest of the Library will be open to the general public but there will also be a dedicated quiet room for those needing a calmer space.
