About Queer Archives Study Day

A woman shows Library collection items to two people. One is wearing a purple head scarf

Join us for a day of archival exploration for A-Level students. Students will engage with selected archival material linked to the queer community. They will consider what and how we can learn from these sources and think about how they link to the present day.

With a blend of hands-on activities and a chance to view Library collection items, this day is an opportunity for students to develop their critical thinking skills and learn about how they can use archives to further their learning in school and beyond.

  • group size: Maximum 30 students per school
  • session times: 10.00 – 14.30 (inclusive of a lunch break)

Booking is essential via the 'Book Now' button. Please email schools@bl.uk if you have questions or need help with the form.
