Once Upon An ... Invention

Green Libraries Week

A storybook adventure where children read, imagine, build, and invent creative solutions to an environmental challenge.

About Once Upon An ... Invention

An open book with a lightbulb, a pencil, the globe, a paper aeroplane and a rocket coming out of it.

What if a story could inspire an invention?

Join Science Owl and Dr Renee for a fun, hands-on workshop where reading meets creativity, imagination, and invention.

We'll begin by reading a picture book together, then explore a real-world environmental challenge inspired by the story. With the help of Science Owl's scientists and engineers, you'll design, build, and test your own invention to see how your creation can help the planet!

This event is part of Green Libraries Week.
