Family Workshop: Stitching Stories
Share stories this Refugee Week as we open up our Afghan collections. Suitable for families with children over 5.
Sunday 22 June, 11.00 and 13.30About Family Workshop: Stitching Stories

Join Afghan writer and activist Batool Haidari to explore the power of words and have a go at creative writing.
Build with artist Ghafar Tajmohammad as he explores Islamic geometric patterns. Then help him to weave your ideas into a collaborative rug.
Finally, help Jumana Moon to explore and reimagine folktales from Afghanistan. Why did the Amir learn to weave? What did the townspeople eat at the banquet? And what was the strange creature in the village field? Join us to find out!
