About Family Workshop: Stitching Stories

A person wearing glasses look up through vertical threads

Meet Afghan writer and activist Batool to hear her story, then create your own and explore the power of words.

Build with artist Ghafar Tajmohammad as he explores Islamic geometric patterns. Then help him to weave your ideas into a collaborative rug.

Finally, help Jumana Moon to explore and reimagine folktales from Afghanistan. Why did the Amir learn to weave? What did the townspeople eat at the banquet? And what was the strange creature in the village field? Join us to find out!

In partnership with Untold Narratives.

Please book one ticket per person in your group.
