A special screening of an inspirational new film about bees and their fundamental role in our world. Plus panel and Q&A.
About BEE WILD: free screening and expert panel
Be among the first to see a brand new documentary BEE WILD, an upbeat, poetic and hopeful film that explores ways we can help restore thriving ecosystems and regenerate bee populations worldwide. Made by the award-winning filmmakers Josh and Rebecca Tickell (Kiss The Ground and Common Ground) it features contributions by Angelina Jolie, Ellie Goulding and many others.
This free screening is introduced by the filmmakers and followed by a Q&A and panel including Erika Thompson (Texas Beeworks), Anabel Kindersley (Neal’s Yard & Stand By Bees), Christabel Reed (Earthed) and Eva Kruse (Bee:wild).
Every year, we lose some of the wild bees critical to biodiversity – species that quietly go extinct. The film highlights the urgent need to conserve bees and other insects that pollinate our food, while emphasizing practical ways viewers can get involved in restoring, regenerating, and nurturing this largely unseen world.
BEE WILD celebrates the natural beauty of these magical winged creatures. Blending captivating cinematography, original music, and high-profile voices, it offers a powerful look at the vital but imperilled lives of wild pollinators and tangible solutions. The film features Angelina Jolie, and the world-renowned beekeeper Erika Thompson of Texas Beeworks, and other influential environmental figures such as Professor Johan Rockström, alongside Ellie Goulding’s original music and charismatic narration.
Tickets are free, but advance booking is recommended.
Presented by Bee:wild a new science-led, non-profit global campaign dedicated to increasing pollinator numbers for a more biodiverse planet and healthier communities. Organised under Re:wild – the conservation organisation co-founded by Leonardo DiCaprio – Bee:wild unites businesses, NGOs, scientists, creators, and cultural figures in a dynamic movement to raise awareness and inspire action to save nature and the little creatures that feed the world.
The mission is to Bring the Buzz Back by inviting everyone, everywhere to play a part in saving wild bees and other pollinators: planting bee-friendly species on balconies, in gardens, parks, and public spaces; rewilding urban areas; and urging world leaders to support low-pesticide farming and pollinator-friendly land use.
