Following the publication of the newest addition to The Witcher books, Crossroads of Ravens, join Andrzej Sapkowski at this special event as part of the British Library’s Tales of the Weird festival.
Known for his multi-layered plots, rich worldbuilding, and morally complex characters, also found in his The Hussite Trilogy, Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher series has been translated into over 40 languages and has sold over 30 million copies. It has also inspired a hit Netflix series – about to enter its fourth season – and landmark video games from CD Projekt Red. Recognized as one of the most influential voices in modern fantasy, he received the World Fantasy Award for Life Achievement in 2016. In 2024, Forbes named The Witcher one of the 30 greatest book series of all time.
This event is part of the British Library’s Tales of the Weird: An Autumnal Festival. Tickets for both Saturday 1 November and the whole festival weekend, including An Evening with Andrzej Sapkowski, are currently on sale here.

Venue and bar opening times
This event will take place in the British Library Knowledge Centre and is also available to watch online. Tickets may be booked to attend in person, or to watch online.
If you are attending in person, please note that the Knowledge Centre and the bar will be open from 18.30.

Concessions
