AI is the most discussed area of the current technological change. One of the most prominent claims made by AI industry is that it will change of lives for the better by improving our health outcomes. AI opportunities include a potential to speed up discovery of new drugs, to improve diagnostics, or to make NHS more efficient and easier to access. At the same time, there are also worries about the effects of data biases, the uses of our personal health data, and the impact on AI on future of developments of human expertise. This AI debate will deal with both promises and worries related to the uses of AI in healthcare, including an opportunity for the audience to ask questions and express their views.
