About Seaweed

Seaweed has been used as an ingredient for millennia. Fast-growing, nourishing and versatile, communities from across East Asia, the Caribbean and Europe have harnessed the plants’ powers which have become a mainstay in everything from sushi to sea moss and laverbread.

As climate change increasingly strains biodiversity and what can be grown and where, more chefs and consumers are looking to seaweed as a sustainable choice. And more growers are turning to more inventive ways to cultivate it and use it as food.

Join us to explore seaweed’s rich culinary heritage and its growing role in how we might eat tomorrow.

Full details and speakers to be announced soon.
